A comfortable sofa can be one of the favorite items in the house. You can let go of tired and be lazy in that place. One of the materials used in wrapping the sofa is leather. Leather that is used as sofa wrapper has a few types. Type of Sofa Leather
A common type of leather used as a sofa wrapper is as follows
1. Hairy Leather
The outer leather and the hair existence are characteristics of this leather type.
2. Smooth Leather
Leather feels smooth and is the most widely type used in the manufacturing of sofas.
3. Suede Leather
Like a towel, it is a second layer of Leather until the fifth.
4. Nubuk Leather
Like velvet, it requires a complex and long process. Because of its expensive price, this leather type is rarely used to cover the sofas.
Differences between the Original Leather and Imitation Leather
If you intend to replace the sofa upholstery with upholstery leather, so that you are not fooled if the sofa leather chosen is genuine leather or just an imitation, the followings are the differences that you review accurately:

5. Try to pull the leather. When the leather is pulled up and down and it is found that the loosing is the same as when it is pulled left and right, it means that the leather is imitation. This is because genuine leather is generated from animal skins, so the left and right loosing is greater than the up and down.
6. Genuine leather is difficult to get burnt, but the imitation leather will shrink when it is burnt..
Leather Sofa Care
Like other appliances that require treatment, then for leather sofa, you can perform maintenance by doing the following things:
1. Every once a week, clean your leather sofa with a dry cloth.
2. Do not place leather sofa in a place exposed to direct sunlight. Sunlight can make the sofa leather become dry and cracked.
3. Apply a skin moisturizer on your sofa. This moisturizer can be purchased in the market.
4. Wipe the sofa with a rag or a sponge immediately when it is exposed to water spillage.
